Crystal Palace is one of the oldest motor sport venues in the world, having staged its first motor race in 1899. Modern development has meant only a small section of track still exists, but what does remain allows Sprint racing to become a notable and exciting yearly event. The venue is complemented not only by the historic track, but also the Italian Terraces and pleasant park space which acted as a paddock as well as an area of a static classic car display. The actual motorsports sprints are organised by the Sevenoaks and District Motorclub, open to a wide range of vehicles organised by class. Because of it’s accessible location, it’s a key draw for families and young motorsports fans.
